Free Wireless Access in the Hot Zone!
Downtown Long Beach now offers free wireless access along Pine Avenue! Dubbed "The Wireless Hot Zone", use your laptop or PDA to surf the internet, check your email, or register online with Pacific Media Expo.

Note: Due to the newly-developed construction of The Pike, the Wireless Hot Zone has expanded south of the area shown on the City's website, which may include the LBCC and The Pike. There is a limited range of the free wireless access, such as areas within hotels along Pine Ave., since these areas have their own internet access.

Pacific Media Expo has negotiated special discounts for travel
to and from the local Los Angeles / Orange County airports. For people
arriving early or staying late to see the sights in Los Angeles, the
coupons are good from September 1st through September 12th.

Domestic Travel
United is offering a 10% discount off the unrestricted, fully refundable
coach fare, or a 5% discount off the lowest applicable fares, including
First Class, to all attendees of Pacific Media Expo and members of the
Pacific Media Association.
An additional 5% discount will apply when tickets are purchased at least 30 days in advance of travel.
This special fare applies to travel on domestic segments of all United Airlines and United Express flights.
Convenient schedules and discounted fares for UAL/UAX/UA are available through United's Meeting Desk or your travel agent. Call 1-800-521-4041 and reference Meeting ID Number 531CK. Dedicated reservationists are on duty seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST.
International Travel
A 10% discount off the lowest applicable fare, excluding First Class,
will be offered ONLY when you or your travel agent call United's toll-free
number 1-800-521-4041 and refer to Meeting ID Number 531CK.
A 15% discount off full coach fares is also available with no advance purchase.
Discounts apply on United and United Express. Dedicated reservationists are on duty 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST.
Book early to take advantage of promotional fares that give you the greatest discount. Mileage Plus members receive full credit for all miles flown to this meeting.
