Mr. Ohata was the mecha designer for classics such as Gunbuster and Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. His directorial career includes Blue Gender, MD Geist, and now the hit FUNimation series, Burst Angel.

Mr. Mizushima has directed a number of hit shows including Dai-Guard, Slayers Next, Shaman King (seen on Fox's 4Kids TV), the Fullmetal Alchemist TV series (seen on Cartoon Network), and the Fullmetal Alchemist movie.

A broad variety of artistic pieces will be screened throughout the festival. Read the guidelines and submit your films so that we receive them by August 15, 2005.

Ticket Reservation to see Rex Navarrete live at PMX is now available through PMX Registration! Each membership may optionally reserve a single ticket for $10 more. Reservations are confirmed in order of payment, not in online registration order, and reservation through pre-registration may be suspended or ended to prevent overselling of advance tickets. Standby tickets will be available at-the-door.

PMX is pleased to welcome Rex Navarrete as its first (ever!) Comedian Guest of Honor! Mr. Navarrete is arguably one of the most successful Asian American comedians in the United States and we are honored to have him perform at our event. Rex will be performing two live shows exclusively for members of PMX, on Saturday and Sunday night at 7:00 PM in the Long Beach Convention Center, Room 104.
